Facial hair coming back thicker......?

Ok so im a teenager and not all the parts of my face are developed fully facial hair wise, and there IS hair but its too thin right now to have color, after a while it gets thicker of course so WHAT IM WONDERING is that if i shave off the thin hair will it get thicker faster or should i just let it grow out and it will thicken on its own???
