House fans, I don't understand the house /cuddy issues?

I think he uses his disability and pain as an excuse. I think he would be the same miserable person either way. It's just his nature to be an a$$hole. I predict that he will get off vicadon and he and Cuddy will start talking again. The last episode was a teaser to get us to watch in May which is a TV ratings month.
